Black Dog Farm Introduces Customizable Farm Club for Bozeman Residents

Livingston's Black Dog Farm launches a flexible CSA program with delivery options to Bozeman and Big Sky.

Black Dog Farm, a cherished Livingston-based pork and poultry producer, is unveiling its innovative Farm Club program this summer, offering Bozeman residents a fresh approach to Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). From June through September, Farm Club members can tailor their monthly CSA boxes to suit their preferences, selecting from a variety of meats—including chicken, sausage, pork, and duck—as well as farm-fresh eggs. This customizable approach ensures that individuals and families receive quantities that fit their needs, addressing concerns about freezer space and food waste. Established in 2017 by husband-and-wife team Kira Jarosz and Tim Anthony, Black Dog Farm began with a modest backyard flock and has since blossomed into a thriving enterprise serving both Park and Gallatin counties. Their commitment to ethical and sustainable farming practices has resonated with the community, fostering a loyal customer base. Farm Club offers two subscription sizes to accommodate different household needs. Members can opt to pick up their CSA boxes at the Bozeman Farmers' Market, held every Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lindley Park, or at the Gallatin Valley Farmers' Market, which takes place on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. For added convenience, Black Dog Farm is introducing a delivery service to Big Sky for a one-time fee of $30, covering all four months of the program. This initiative aims to make their high-quality, ethically raised products more accessible to a broader audience. In addition to Farm Club, Black Dog Farm continues to offer its original CSA packages, featuring various combinations of pork, chicken, and sausage. Orders exceeding $100 qualify for free delivery within Livingston, Bozeman, Belgrade, and Big Sky, further enhancing accessibility for local customers. By launching Farm Club, Black Dog Farm reaffirms its dedication to providing the Bozeman community with nutritious, ethically sourced meats and eggs, while adapting to the evolving needs of its customers. This program not only supports local agriculture but also strengthens the connection between consumers and their food sources.
